ButterflyFX Labs is the part of our business where all Neuroscience work happens.  We are working on technology that allows people to learn faster.

We rely on peer reviewed research published in top scientific journals' (e.g. Cell, Nature, Science etc.).  Anything less would be uncivilized and could be pseudoscience.

Our Work: Help People Recovering From Stroke (e.g. "learn to talk again") hopefully a little bit faster using our application of technology of modern neuroscience.  Similarly, the techniques we are pioneering would also benefit those learning to walk with a prosthetic.

Steve & Terrod now carry torches he lit 

& follow pathways he inspired.

Terrod's first-ever CEO, Julie Sweet also especially impacted him by approving Accenture to team up with the Cristo Rey Inner City School Network, the internship program that gave Terrod his first real break in business.

Accenture is where Steve immersed himself in the world of "full-scope resilience" and the associated cybersecurity, data science and critical infrastructure cultures that he & Terrod have purposefully applied to ButterflyFX Labs.  The talk linked below was delivered prior to Steve retiring from Accenture, but conveys the key points of Steve's work on Full Scope Resilience.

Terrod's unique growth trajectory is the central organizing case study of the Company...for him to be mentored by our members' CEOs and their most talented associates.

So he can be the best mentor possible for the next generation as he steps into his own as the the Director of Mentorship Programs, massively multiplying his own mentors' impact.

And in our company, that is his exact job...to mentor students at Cristo Rey Schools on-line, coordinating their opportunities to also get exposure to professionals in our members' organizations. 

At 10, Professor Kilian announced his work to the world in the video linked below. 

He was 100% self-taught (based on the stellar Youtube channel 3 Blue One Brown...aka 3B1B).

He is also a special project of the members...with his top math mentor being Dr. Tony Johnson of the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab, one of the foremost mathematicians anywhere in the world. 

Dr. Tony is also directly associated with Terrod's Mentorship program (watching-over Terrod to help him best help the Cristo Rey high-schoolers).

Kilian and Terrod are brothers in this journey. 

History revisited and relevant for our future...

A revival of the original Macy Meetings, the trans-disciplinary conversations at the founding of Cybernetics in the 1940s and 1950s, redefined for the 21st century to include trans-global and trans-generational participation. 

Cybernetics is the formal branch of Science that we adhere to, Cybernetics (focused on biological learning through neuroplasticity), coupled with a phenomenological research philosophy and a dash of our own special focus on performance art. 

Terrod's original vision...delivered with our beloved associates at The Cristo Rey Network of Schools. 

Terrod's Original vision was to "Help the kids coming-up behind" him. So for three years, He & Steve worked out how to structure a business model that would allow us to help as many kids at Cristo-Rey as possible.  

Ultimately, we designed and launched this Co-Op, where we mutually support each other in our businesses, neuroscience tech development (Butterfly FX Labs) goals, and most importantly, we also include Terrod's High Schooler Mentees where appropriate, to help Butterfly Effect Their Lives.  

The three primary categories into which we group all learning are Ideas, Information & Skill. 

Terrod set his mind (over the past 3 years) to learning a BIG IDEA: "I can be a successful like Mr. Marty".

Kilian set his mind to learning Information: Math...very high-level math & stuff (Click below & see "Kilian's Whiteboard" etc here).
